Infused water is great for hydration...
There are so many things I love about India, particularly the smells. From the smell of mango wood burning in gardens in the mornings, to the aromas of incense in virtually every building you visit, from shops or homes. There are also beautiful red hibiscus plants in bloom here, there is definitely a delicacy to these cultural rituals that I find really comforting.
Human beings can only survive a few days without water, and now that I'm here in the winter sunshine of Kerala, staying hydrated is a top priority. Clean water is an important nutrient for the body, it helps to hydrate the cells and organs of the body and assists with the absorption of nutrients.
For me, I like to mix it up a bit with my drinks so that I don't get 'bored' with just plain old (and wonderful) water... There's a trick to the way we can think about it too - not drinking, but 'refreshing' our cells so that they can do their essential work in our body.
Lemon exlixir, fresh green or fruit juices, coconut water, herbal teas and infused water are my epic choices.

This is already a very cooling drink, so best not to have it cold, but at room temperature if possible.
Extra add on's: add 1 drop of lemon doTerra Essential Oil, (and perhaps create some Dr. Omoto's style sacred affirmations) and there you have it...ready to go.
